Memorial Day Weekend Hike along the creek, go tubing, bring your kayak, swim in heated Mt. Storm Lake, visit nearby Swallow Falls, or Cathedral State Park, or Blackwater Falls... Lodge House Bon-Fire & Cook-Out Saturday & Sunday evenings - starting at 6:00pm -- In the backyard of the Lodge House The Lodge House has a mega-wood-fired grill in the backyard and bon-fire pit. Bring your own dogs, burgers, buns, corn, chips, marshmallows, drinks... and share in a communal gathering. The grill will be hot by 6pm. Arrive early or late. We'll keep the grill and bon-fire going late. Lots of parking available. Weather permitting. |

July 4th Weekend featuring live Folk Rock by Sarah Blacker Band (click above for sound clips / mp3's / more info.) *Sarah Blacker~ acoustic guitar/voice/mandolin/djembe/strange noises/bad jokes/songwriting *Chuck Fisher~ lead acoustic guitar *Sean McLaughlin~ electric bass More on Sarah: Sarah Blacker Band website Concert times: DJ -- Friday and Saturday starting at 8:00pm Sarah Blacker -- Sunday, July 4th, starting at 2:00pm and 7:00pm Concert Day: Walk-In's: $10.00 per person (all day use) $8.00 per person for all guests staying in our accommodations (campsites, cabins, tipi's and lodge house). Fees collected upon arrival -- Children under 12: FREE We will have face and body painting, Fire dancers. A turntable DJ on Friday and Saturday evenings and a small Fireworks display. Community bon-fire Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights starting around 7:00pm Bring your own dogs, burgers, marshmallows, drinks, and trash bags. Abram's Creek will host fireworks displays by campground guests in the back yard of the Lodge House both Saturday and Sunday nights starting at dark. Bring your own fireworks and bring a trash bag to pick up after yourself. Please use fireworks only in large open areas such as lodge house backyard and main parking area near cabin #1 or up at Mt. Storm Lake parking lot due to fire dangers. Do not use fireworks at campsites or in the woods. Please Exercise Caution -- thanks. |

Halloween Trick or Treat Stop for the area kids For the locals and Rt 50 travelers, pull off to our Creepy Cottage for a Trick or Treat stop. Bon-fire, hot chocolate, s'mores, candy for the kids. Donations welcome. Official time for the kids is 6-8pm Saturday; Sunday night drop in visit okay for sightseeing and candy. |
