| New Outdoor Commercial Kitchen Facility We have completed a 500 square foot commercial outdoor, propane based kitchen directly behind the lodge house. It has capacity to cook for 100+ people. It includes 2 commercial gas ranges, a commercial convection oven, 3 compartment commercial sink, multiple refrigeration / freezer units, shelving and counter-food prep area and much more. Commercial Pots / Pans / Utensils included. It is currently fully operational. Free use for whole lodge house rental guests / otherwise $100/day. |
New Covered Geodesic Dome for Outdoor Workshops Geodesic Dome photos and details - click here We have now completed a 40 foot diameter, 18 foot tall geodesic dome, located just off a trail to the side of the lodge house and behind the shower house. This vast indoor workspace structure is now available for large outdoor workshops where a covering assures dry conditions for it's hosts and attendees. Reserve in advance for Free for your workshop or large event. |

On-Demand -- Endless Hot showers; free phone use for short calls (long distance included); satellite TV lounge areas; one mega-baud satellite internet connection and wireless (wi-fi) network; small library; picnic pavilion and bon-fire area outside; free coffee / tea / hot chocolate service 24/7; well-spring water; front and back porches; finished basement free standing wood stove and separate stone fireplace; open, fully stocked kitchen for all to use (food excluded);

Our Eco-Friendly Campground Facilities
- 40 heavily forested campsites, most waterfront or waterview
- Each campsite includes bench(es), firepits (firerings), and most with a picnic table
- Some sites can accommodate small RV's, pop-up campers, and boat trailers
- 2 authentic native american style Tipi's, great for congregating, with firepits inside
- 8 beautifully furnished micro-Cabins in 2008, each able to sleep 5 to 9, and 2 more coming in Spring 2009.
- A modern shower house facility with separate men's and women's hot showers, sinks, mirrors, benches, and electricity / outlets.
Our Grounds Facilities
- 20 acres of pristine hemlock rich forest with boulders, mosses, and ferns common
- 3,000 feet of pristine big-stream waterfront
- A Native American style Sweat Lodge
- A large community bon-fire area below cabin #2 sufficient for hosting large outdoor events and workshops
- A picnic Pavillion area behind the Lodge House with 6 picnic tables, all covered
- Volleyball, horse shoes, and outdoor grills behind the Lodge House
- A mile round-trip stream-side trail and abundant swimming holes throughout
- Miles of stream valley wilderness downstream from the campground
- Abundant firewood supplied in piles throughout the campground for a $5.00 wheel barrow load
- Port-a-potties throughout, cleaned and sanitized each Tuesday
- Abundant aquatic and land-based wild-life, flowering plants, magnificent mushrooms, fungi, mosses, and a great variety of tree species
Bathroom Facilities / Showers / Water / Electricity / Laundry:
- Bathroom Facilities Bathroom facilities consist of port-a-potties which are cleaned and sanitized professionally each Tuesday.
- Showers Separate men's and women's shower house with sinks and hot water are on-line and operational. Please use environmentally friendly soaps and shampoos. See link on homepage for details / photos.
- Electricity is available outside of the first cabin and will be extended to the 2nd cabin and at points along the road by Summer 2008.
- County water is available at a pump (lift lever to open water) located at the first cabin and will be extended to the 2nd cabin area and at points along the road by Summer 2008.. Help yourself and be sure to push the handle down to the off position when finished filling containers.
- Laundry is only available to Lodge House guests at Abram's Creek. $3.00 buys one large load in the washer and use of the dryer until clothes are dry -- also includes use of our bio-degradable, eco-friendly laundry detergent. Payable at secure payment mailbox inside lodge house.
Parking / Handicap Access / Pop-Up Campers:
- Parking / Roads: Roads have just recently been expanded to include the ability to drive nearly anywhere in the campground, inlcuding to parking spaces located at most campsites (except those down by the Community Bon-Fire area).
- Handicap Access: Most Campsites and the cabins and tipi's are handicap accessible as vehicles can now park at most sites.
- RV's and Pop-Up Campers: 7 campsites just off of the main road will have sufficient space for small RV's and pull in Pop-Up Campers (see campsite descriptions link on homepage for details; however, no larger RV's or large trailers will be accomodated anytime soon. A couple of small RV's could also be parked in the main parking area near cabin #1 -- do call ahead. No electric, water, or septic hook-ups. Campground Quiet Hours:
Please refrain from unnecessary noise and disturbances in the campground from 11:00pm to 8:00am. This includes keeping voices low when passing by campsites and cabins, not playing loud music, and keeping down conversations around late night campfires. Thank you.
Firewood Policy:
$5.00 per wheel barrow load. Please return wheel barrow to firewood pile after use. Several piles throughout the campground.
Pay at the Registration / Check-In kiosk on front porch of Lodge House.
Foraging is Free: Collect and gather fallen wood debris as available.
Do NOT cut down live trees or branches from live trees.
